Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

User Accounts

You must create an account and provide certain information about yourself in order to use some of the advanced features that are offered through the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password. You are also responsible for all activities that occur in connection with your account. You may not impersonate someone else (e.g., adopt the identity of a celebrity or your next-door neighbor), create or use an account for anyone other than yourself, provide an email address other than your own, or create multiple accounts. If you use a pseudonym, take care to note that others may still be able to identify you.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.

Premium membership (“Premium”)

Registered users may enhance their experience of the Site by purchasing the premium membership, which adds additional functionality to the Site. Premium membership is purchased for a certain amount of time. Detailed pricing plans are available on the appropriate purchase site. Every purchase is saved to the transaction history, which is available in the “Manage account” section after successful log in. Checking your account type and monitoring remaining “Premium” days can be done in the “Manage account” section after successful log in. No user data is lost when the Premium subscription ends. However, you will not be able to manage them anymore, that is, unless you renew the subscription.

The purchase process

  1. Log in into your account.
  2. Visit the purchase site and confirm your pricing plan.
  3. You will be redirected to the purchase confirmation page. Check if your pricing plan fits and confirm that you have read the terms and conditions and privacy policy, then continue.
  4. You will be redirected to PayPal payment gate. Follow their steps to complete the payment.
  5. After successful transaction, you will be redirected back to Tasklog and informed about the success.
  6. Your Premium membership will be activated shortly. This process runs in the background and only between PayPal server and Tasklog server (more info).

Purchase refunds

Within 30 days if you are not completely satisfied with the service, Tasklog will refund your last purchase. The refund formula is as follows: $1 will be deducted from the original value because of the transfer fees.

Example: You just purchased 1 year of Premium membership for $60. If you decide to request a refund, you will receive $59 as a refund.

Requests for refunds after the 30 day period are not guaranteed and will be assessed individually.

Site failure or malfunction

For every site failure or malfunction that causes you inability to use the Site properly for more than 10 minutes, you can request compensation in the form of one-day extension of your current Premium membership. The request can be filed using the support section. This compensation can be used only once per 72hours.

Site shutdown

In the event of permanent Site shutdown, all Premium users will be refunded with 100% value of their remaining Premium membership time, calculated as [remaining days * $0.16].

It’s good to know…

  1. One Premium membership applies only to one specific account, which may be used only by one person.
  2. The premium account may be used by one person on infinite number of devices.
  3. Site features marked as “Experimental” or “in development” are not guaranteed to work and therefore their malfunction can not be claimed as bug/error.
  4. Any feedback, support request or e-mail message from Premium users has top priority and will be processed before any other (non-premium) requests.

Supported browsers

The list of fully supported browsers is as follows: Microsoft Edge (version 17 and above), Google Chrome for desktop (version 75 and above), Firefox for desktop (version 67 and above), Safari for desktop (version 12 and above).

Other browsers, and older versions of listed browsers, are not guaranteed to be fully compatible with the Site and therefore any browser related errors can not be claimed as bug/error.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
